The Fishing the Midwest Fishing Team gets the opportunity every year to visit some great locations. Following are some of our favorites. Some of these locations have lots of things in addition to the fishing for the family to do, others offer a more wilderness experience.

All provide wonderful fishing opportunities. Keep these destinations in mind next time you’re planning a trip. Maybe we’ll see you there.

	Lake Winnibigoshish, MN Lake Winnibigoshish is a world-class fishery. It provides lots of fish, big fish, and a variety of species. It’s the perfect place to take a family that’s looking for some uninterrupted “together time” or a group of hard-core anglers.		Storm Lake, IA A beautiful walking trail borders much of Storm Lake and is very popular. So is King’s Pointe Resort. King’s Pointe is a great place to stay, as are the nearby cabins. King’s Pointe has an indoor/outdoor water park and a great restaurant in addition to clean, spacious, luxurious rooms.
	Fairmont, MN For many Midwest anglers, the City of Lakes is an easy drive. The fishing action heats up early in the year, so you get a chance to start the fishing season early. Whenever you get the opportunity to kick the fishing season off early, with the possibility of some big fish, that’s a good deal.
