Follow The Fish For More Fishing Success (04.30.12)
If you want to catch more fish, you need to follow them throughout the fishing season. Find the food they’re eating, put your bait there, and you’ll increase your odds for fishing success.

First Trip Crappies (04.15.12)
A key consideration is where you set the bobber stop. It is very important to suspend your bait just a tad above the fish. If you think the fish are four feet below the surface, set your bobber so it is about three and a half feet below the surface. You don’t want the bait below the fish. Fish of any specie are more likely to go up for a bait than down.

Things To Try For More Fishing Success (03.19.12)
Make this the year you introduce someone new to the joys of fishing. It could be a youngster, it could just as easily be “not a youngster”. There are so many people in your neighborhood that would enjoy fishing if someone would just take them. Fishing is a good thing: Give someone else the opportunity to discover that.

Open Water Fishing In The Winter (02.23.12)
I’m sure that there will still be plenty of ice-fishing opportunities this year, and late ice always provides some of the best ice action. However, while we wait for good ice, make the most of the low water in the rivers near where you live. You just might find some pretty good warm weather fishing in the winter.
