Scott Soderquist resides in Cedar, Minnesota, a northern suburb of the Twin Cities, and is recognized as one of the Midwest's premier crappie anglers.

In addition to his writing efforts, Scott is the featured speaker at fishing seminars, and also makes numerous personal appearances at sporting goods stores special events.

Although well-known for his prowess with panfish, Scott is an accomplished walleye angler as well. He has won or placed near the top in numerous walleye tournaments.

Scott's commitment to youth and family fishing is respected throughout the fishing tackle industry. He does fishing seminars for the Boy Scouts and other youth groups, donating his time generously.
